People used to poo-poo London for serving antiquated, dull food. Today, that couldn’t be further from the truth. We’re constantly inspired by what we see on the other side of the pond. They’re pushing the boundaries of cooking in unexpected, delightful ways, and presenting them in a just-so-British way: sweet, simple and rustic, without pretension or austerity.
We keep master lists of places to eat in all of the cities we’ve traveled to, and London’s is growing at an alarmingly awesome pace. At this point we’ll have to schedule 6 meals a day to hit all of the spots we love (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
